I stood on the side of the rink with my sister Hannah and brother Billy. It looked easy to roller skate. I stepped on the rink. I started to skate it was really easy. I love this I thought.

Whoosh people flew by on the rink. Then I noticed there was one disappointment. I wanted to go really fast like all the other people but my brother was going so so slowly. I was going medium speed and he was still like 2 feet away from me . I came over to Billy and yelled ''Go fast!''

Then I rolled over to Mommy and mumbled, "Please bring him to Daddy so we can go fast.''

"In a little while." she promised.

A minute later I came back over and mumbled "Can you bring him to daddy now?"

" In a little while,’’ mom promised.

A minute later I came back over .She said, "Okay. Now let’s go find

Daddy."

After we found Daddy he took Billy and Hannah .Then Mommy and I went skating alone. When we got on the rink we started to skate.

My eyes teared with joy. Wow I thought, I'm skating so fast!

I turned to smiled at Mom but instead I kept an eye on the rink. I squeezed Mom’s hand and she squeezed my hand. We held hands until we made a stop when we found Hannah, Billy, and Daddy. We got off the ice to go play some games.
